February 2012 Schedule | Class Descriptions

Our group fitness schedule includes more than 65 complimentary classes a week designed to improve cardiovascular conditioning, strength, flexibility and mind/body awareness.  Many of the class choices are appropriate for beginner, intermediate or advanced exercisers. 

Classes are available seven days a week, with morning, daytime and evening options.  The Sports Club is the first club in the region to bring you a DVD library.  Come do a group exercise class around your schedule or visit our DVD library for your favorite videos.

This Week's Group Exercise News

Intro to Spin
4:45pm to 5pm on Sundays. This 15-minute session will teach the basics of bike setup and saftey, getting you on the road to spinning. There is an optional 30-minute ride after the setup session. 

Intro to Mindfulness Meditation
Learn exercise techniques for your brain! This program teaches you how to cope with stress and improve your immune system. If you are interested in joining our Thursday night session on February 23rd and have never taken an intro class, we invite you to come at 6pm for a short Intro class, then stay for the 6:30pm main session. We will provide hot tea during the mid-session break for all who attend. This invitation is open to new participants only; $20 for members, $25 for non-members.
