Cincinnati Sports Club has access to professional athletes outside the country. One such athlete is internationally-known soccer star, Charlie Cooke.
A native of Scotland, Cooke played in Chelsea’s English League Cup Final. He also was a part of the European Cup Winners Cup win against Real Madrid in Athens in 1971. Cooke, director of Coerver Coaching USA and the Charlie Cooke Soccer School, runs clinics and coaches Cincinnati Sports Club students.
The Charlie Cooke Soccer School provides instruction in the Coerver Coaching Method and Moves. Coerver Coaching is an internationally recognized method for improving individual soccer skills and small-group play and is especially suited for younger players. Cooke runs clinics and coaches Cincinnati Sports Club students from age 4 to 10.The non-competitive, non-threatening environment is ideal for players of all ages and abilities. Classes are held September through April, along with week-long camps in the summer. All clinics are held on our indoor soccer field.
Both individuals and teams are welcome and encouraged to participate in Charlie Cooke’s soccer clinics in order to improve their basic soccer skills.
