Daniel Funk M.D., a Mayo Clinic trained orthopedic surgeon, is located on the second floor of the Club. He is available to evaluate and treat your orthodpedic needs on Monday and Thursday throughout the day. X ray capabilities are on-sight. Appointments are recommended and may be made by calling 333-2580. Saturday appointments will be available. Additional appointment times are available at a satellite office at The Christ Hospital.
As a Christ Hospital physician, Dr. Funk has had 20 years of proven experience and has worked with a number of local sports teams, including 10 years as the team orthopedic surgeon at Miami University. He completed a fellowship in Sports Medicine and is a member of The American Academy of Sports Medicine.
While Dr. Funk specializes in sports-related injuries, he is also qualified in treating patients with general orthopedic concerns. He is very adept in treating a variety of bone and joint ailments. He offers treatments ranging from specific exercise programs, injections, arthroscopic and total joint-replacement surgery.
Dr. Funk enjoys treating patients in a timely fashio, offering skilled and compassionate orthopedic care.
